Joe Martin, Martin Control Systems, joins Control Engineering editorial advisory board
Joe Martin, president and founder, Martin Control Systems, joined the Control Engineering editorial advisory board in July.
Control Engineering announces that it has re-established an editorial advisory board to provide input to editorial staff on editorial content, relevancy, automation market, and audience; to serve as a first-level sounding board for new initiatives and ideas; and to participate in events and contribute editorially. Among those named on July 8, Joe Martin is serving as Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) mentor and has served as a director and member relations chair.
He also has been engaged in the advancement of manufacturing technologies through leadership positions with ISA, CSIA, and the Automation Federation. He is president and founder of Martin Control Systems Inc. (MartinCSI), a system integration firm located in the Columbus, Ohio, area that delivers mission critical control systems to industry in Ohio and surrounding states. MartinCSI has achieved CSIA Certification since 2001.
Previously, Martin worked 10 years as a controls engineer for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of automation equipment used by the diecast and foundry industries. He is a graduate of the Ohio Institute of Technology.
MartinCSI is a 2011 Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year.
