Simulation program for processing, hazardous applications
The KBC Co-Pilot Program from KBC Advanced Technologies (KBC), a subsidiary of Yokogawa, is designed to remotely support the plant and is connected to a cloud-based Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) data-as-a-service solution to remotely monitor and help improve their customers’ process operations. The KBC Co-Pilot Program is designed for process operations looking to improve throughput, higher value yields, improved plant reliability and lower operating costs. It uses the KBC Production Core, which delivers automation to of all aspects of production operations, with integrated technology and consulting best practices that leverage the cloud.
The KBC Co-Pilot Program helps asset owners and operators ensure that their simulation and planning tools are always up to date, and that the actions taken by their operators result in best possible process performance and safe operation of equipment within recognized limits now and into the future. Future KBC Co-Pilot Programs will be designed to focus on supply chain optimization, production optimization, energy management, operator effectiveness and automation. They will apply across all process operations including oil and gas production, oil refining, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas processing, petrochemicals, bulk and specialty chemicals, and power generation.
