The how and why of plant energy management

Things you can do span from the simple to the strategic

One (1) Certified Professional Development Hour (PDH) available for all attendees.

Manufacturing plants come in all sizes and degrees of complexity. For any and all of those plants, improved energy efficiency saves money. The webinar presentation focuses on the value of strategic energy management (SEM), whether that means something as simple as tracking energy costs to more complete solutions such as benefiting from energy management certification programs.

The tools, resources and case studies presented demonstrate how successful strategic energy management can be achieved. In fact, success involves everyone on the manufacturing plant team, from machine operators to the plant manager.

The webinar will help attendees understand where their facility fits along the strategic energy management continuum and what the cost and benefits are for the various levels of SEM. A particular focus will be on the use and implementation of the DOE 50001 Ready navigator tool.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the who, what, when, where, why and how of strategic energy management.

Learning objectives:
